CHRISTMAS SNOW

Jacqueline over at Tinned Tomatoes has given us a break from cooking this month and has asked for seasonal photos to be submitted for the  No Croutons Required challenge.

Boy oh boy did I have an embarrassment of riches (quantity not quality I'm afraid) when deciding which photo from the recent snowy weather to submit.

It snowed so often that each morning everything was virginal white again (wish there were an equivalent to make the house look spotless - no work required!)

I took this photo when I was walking slipping and sliding down to the bus (suffering from cabin fever!!)

These are beautiful photos! I have a very close family friend who is doing a Master's program in Dublin, and I've been reading his updates about the mass quantities of snow! Break out the snowshoes... :)

I had no idea it snowed so much in Ireland! We haven't seen a flake in my part of Massachusetts yet. However, the weatherman is trying to forecast a snowstorm for Sunday! I burst out laughing over you comment about the house look spotless - I agree 100% with you! Have a great day and thanks for the chuckle!

Gorgeous pics. That first one is lovely. We have had 8 inches during the night. I know this as my back doorstep has disappeared. It's still snowing.

I vote on the three photos! They are fantastic! I had to magnify them to see what they are under the blanket of snow or ice! You did a great job choosing your subjects! Take care though and keep warm! Cheers!

Thanks Jennifurla.

Danielle - hope he is having a good time. I'm afraid that very few of us are equipped for the snow, people were going around in high shoes and ugg boots!!!!!

Mary - it doesn't normally, and we are not dealing with it very well!!

Rhonda - sunny Christmas sounds very tempting.

Thanks Kim and Zoe

Chele - all fine here, we haven't been hit by the second wave yet. Hope all well with you.

Granny, hope you are keeping nice and warm. An excuse for more baking!!

Thanks Manu

Biren, the only problem is the slush, kinda like the kitchen after my children cook in it!!

Thanks a million Michaelangelo :-)
